Movement Detail: Powered by the release of a wound spring, mechanical movements never require a battery. Automatic mechanical movements have an oscillating weight that winds the spring with the motion of the wearer’s arm.

AUTOMATIC: Displayed in the window at 6 o’clock, the moon features a lunar disc designed exclusively for Frederique Constant. Oscillating between light and dark shades of grey, the two halves of the moon greet each other with a kiss. The moon’s soft and subtle colors were chosen to go with the watch decoration. The steel case with its silver highlights is matched by steel hands deployed above a mother-of-pearl dial. The thoroughly classic nature of this layout is here further enhanced by a new hour ring on which traditional Arabic numerals have been replaced by slender, gracious Roman counterparts. For the first time in the collection, these have been done out in the same denim blue color as the topstitched leather deployment-clasp strap, forming a style signature that’s exclusive to this collection – and a rarity in watchmaking in general.

Ralph has many great watch brands starting from your usual Seiko’s, Citizen’s, Bulova, etc. to more upscale such as Longines, Hamilton, Oris, etc. the variety is good and overall I like their prices are fair and reasonable, especially if they have a sale. I’d buy a watch from them again in the future.
